Alexandros N. Angelopoulos is the CEO of the Aldemar Resorts Group, where he has been active since 1994. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in International Management from Boston University.
With extensive experience in tourism and entrepreneurship, he is actively involved in organizations and business associations. He serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association (ENE), Member of the Board of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, and Secretary General of the Heraklion Hoteliers Association, Crete.
Since 2010, he has been the Honorary Consul of Ukraine for the Peloponnese region.
Supporting young executives actively, he collaborates with academic institutions and business initiatives. Since 2019, he has been teaching "Sustainable Development in Tourism" in the postgraduate program of Bioeconomics, Circular Economy, and Sustainable Development at the University of Piraeus.
In 2021, he was recognized as the "Responsible Leader for Sustainability" at the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards through closed voting by the judging committee, acknowledging both his actions and vision for sustainability, as well as his active participation and influence in sustainability issues.
