Apostolos Rafailidis is an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Department of Tourism Management at the University of Patras. His primary studies in Economics are complemented by postgraduate and doctoral studies in the field of Economic Technology, focusing specifically on Innovation and Technology Management. His work primarily revolves around technology and innovation management, organizational learning, organizational change management, technological collaborations between businesses, entrepreneurial planning, and business strategy.

He teaches in two postgraduate programs. Among his contributions, he authored the book "Management of Tourism Enterprises" and edited the book "Tourism Management."
