Georgia Manolopoulou is a doctoral candidate in Cultural Diplomacy at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of Peloponnese. She holds a degree from the School of Philosophy, Athens, with a postgraduate title in Museum Studies-cultural management from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her primary academic interests focus on cultural management and diplomacy, as well as the new model of cultural governance.
She is a Fulbright scholar and Global Salzburg Fellow at the Global Innovations Forum, a recipient of the IKY-Grundtvig scholarship at the University Museum of Manchester, and a participant in the NEON Curatorial Program in London. Currently, she is a member of the Scientific Committee of the "Education, Entrepreneurship, Culture" program at the Athens University of Economics and Business and a researcher at the Foundation of Hellenic Diaspora./p>
She is the author of published articles and announcements at international conferences and has participated in European projects focusing on the developmental dimension of culture based on international and European policies in the field of cultural management./p>
She is an elected member of the Administrative Board of DIAZOMA and a member of the Steering Education Committee of ENA EUROPEANA. Recently, she was selected with a scholarship at the Hellenic Observatory Symposium at the London School of Economics. /p>
In recent years, she has been working at the Ministry of Culture / Ephorate of Antiquities of Achaia, specifically at the Archaeological Museum of Patras, focusing on communication, educational activities, exhibitions, and cultural pathways.
