Maria Argyropoulou is a sociologist and holds a doctorate in Educational Sciences. She studied Illustration at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia under professors Toma Verbanov & Asen Gitsov, and Art Conservation under Professor Mladost Volkova. She also studied "Museum Educational Programs in Education" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA).

She works as a Lecturer of Specialized Laboratorial Teaching Staff (EDIP) at the University of Patras in the Department of Tourism Management, specializing in Cultural Tourism. Maria has authored two books on communication through imagery, published articles in Greek and international scientific journals, and has participated in scientific conferences.
