Dimitris Fakalos was born in 1975. He studied European Commercial Law at the University of London and completed his postgraduate studies in Business Administration (MBA) at the London School of Economics.

Subsequently, he worked at IDV (later DIAGEO) in London and at DRESDNER BANK. He has been an active carnival participant since childhood and has been a team captain continuously since 1989, starting at the age of 14, when there were no age restrictions.

Since 1993, he has been a member of the Carnival Committee of Patras, where he also served on the Board of Directors in the mid-2000s. Later, he was involved in establishing the Advisory Committee of the Carnival and served as a member for nearly 8 years (2008-2015).

In the late 2000s, he participated in the working group for the concession of the ASO warehouses (in Lefka) to the Carnival Organization for housing the crews constructing carnival floats.

During the 2000s and 2010s, he co-organized a series of events every Tsiknopempti, with the main event being the "Wedding of the Koulouri" and the outdoor festivals and concerts that followed.

He was one of the inspirations behind the "+Team Hunt for the Hidden Treasure" in 2018 and was the main organizer of this event.

In 2020, during the pandemic, he co-founded (with Nadia Konstantinidi and Asimakis Stratogiannis) the group Future Bulls, which gathered over 6,000 online members and followers to preserve carnival memories through innovative carnival activities such as the 1st ONLINE CARNIVAL PARTY (attended by about 20,000 online participants), the PARADE OF DREAMS, the BALCONY PARTY, the first Carnival radio 'BOULA RADIO', the CARNIVAL-TSARKA at the beginning of the 2022 Carnival, and many other activities.

In September 2022, the 'Future Bulls' group participated in a carnival presence at the 80th INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR OF THESSALONIKI. This marked the first reappearance of Patras Carnival themes at the Thessaloniki International Fair since 2015.

He is the father of 14-year-old twin boys, runs a catering business, and is involved in organizing events and themed events.
