Architect Engineer
Myrto Kiourti, Architect Engineer NTUA (EMP), Master's degree from Columbia University New York, Doctorate from the School of Architecture, NTUA. She has taught architectural design at the Department of Architecture of the University of Patras and at the Postgraduate Program of the School of Architecture, NTUA (2014-2022). She has had an architectural office in Athens and Patras since 2002. Her project "The Box that Flies" was awarded by the Greek Institute of Architecture as the 3rd best completed project in Greece during the 2018-2022 period. She has been awarded in competitions (1st prize in the National Competition, Best Utopian Proposal Award in the Pan-European Re-think Athens Competition) and has been distinguished at the Biennale of Young Greek Architects and several times at the DOMES magazine awards. Her work has been presented at the London School of Economics, Paris-Sorbonne, Milan School of Architecture, Benaki Museum, EMST, Acropolis Museum, among others. She is frequently featured in the media (Kathimerini, To Vima, Ta Nea, Lifo, Athens Voice, the Parliament Channel, ERT, STAR TV, etc.) discussing architecture, the city, and the development of settlements.
