Antonis Charokopos

President of the Board of Directors of the Regional Federation of People with Disabilities of Western Greece & Southern Ionian Islands (P.O.M.A.meA D.E. & N.I.N.)
Antonis Charokopos was born in Patras and is a Telecommunications Engineer. He is the 3rd Vice President of the National Confederation of Disabled People (E.S.A.meA), a Member of the General Council of the National Federation of People with Mobility Impairments (E.O.K.A.), a Member of the Board of Directors of the Social Welfare Center of Western Greece (K.K.P.P.D.E.), and the President of the Board of Directors of the Regional Federation of People with Disabilities of Western Greece & Southern Ionian Islands (P.O.M.A.meA D.E. & N.I.N.).
He has a rich social activity, particularly in the disability movement, in which he has been involved for 29 years. He has also served as the Deputy Regional Governor for Health & Social Solidarity of Western Greece (2014-2015), an appointed Regional Councilor - Assistant to the Regional Governor on Health and Social Solidarity issues, the Representative of Western Greece in the Union of Greek Regions, and Assistant Mayor for Disability Affairs in the Municipality of Patras.
He is a retired employee of the Public Power Corporation (D.E.H.), married with two children.
