Panagiotis Sakellaropoulos is the Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism Development and an employee of the Ministry of Finance (Independent Authority for Public Revenue - IAPR). He has been elected as a Regional Councilor since 2011.
In the past, he has served as Deputy Regional Governor for Administration, Finance, and Fiscal Control, Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Region of Western Greece, and Assistant Regional Governor - Designated Councilor responsible for Planning, Studies, and Development Programs in Agri-Food.
He is a regular member of the Regional Committee and the Committee on Environment, Spatial Planning, Energy, and Natural Resources of the Regional Council of Western Greece.
He is the President of D.A.K.E. (Democratic Independent Trade Union Movement) for Tax Officers of Achaia, Ilia, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, and Ithaca and a member of the Board of Directors of the Tax Officers' Association.
He has served as a special advisor to Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Konstantinos Kyranakis, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andreas Katsaniotis, former Deputy Minister of Justice, Transparency, and Human Rights Konstantinos Karagounis, former Deputy Minister of Finance Antonis Bezas, and former Deputy Minister of Labor Nikos Nikolopoulos.
He was born in Peristera, Akrata, Aigialeia, and lives in Patras. He is married to Lambrini Pliakoura, an Aesthetician and Business Executive.
