Ms. Machi Georgakopoulou has extensive international experience spanning over 30 years in the financial sector and strategic development, having held leadership positions in Asia, the Middle East, America, and Europe.

She is currently based in London, where she serves as Head of Economic Analysis and Risk Management (Hedge Fund) at investment funds with a focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria.

She holds a degree in Economics from London with a specialization in Econometrics, and her professional path includes further expertise in economic forecasting models, utilizing artificial intelligence technologies and big data analytics, with a constant focus on creating sustainable value through innovation.

At the same time, she maintains an active role on Boards of Directors of businesses and non-profit organizations, with a strategic focus on education, the arts, and the promotion of women's participation in leadership positions.

Notably, she is a member of the Governing Committee of the British School at Athens, the Administrative Council of the University of Patras, the Women in Financial Markets UK initiative, and serves as President of the Hellenic Female Leaders organization in the United Kingdom.

It is also noteworthy that Ms. Machi Georgakopoulou served as the first Honorary Economic Counselor of Greece in Hong Kong, playing a pivotal role in achieving economic agreements with China and promoting cultural relations as early as 1994.
