Apostolos Rafailidis is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Tourism Management at the University of Patras. With a background in Economics, his postgraduate and doctoral studies focus on the field of the Economics of Technology, specifically in Innovation and Technology Management.

His primary areas of work include technology and innovation management, organizational learning, organizational change management, technological collaborations between businesses, business planning, entrepreneurship, and business strategy. He also teaches in two postgraduate programs. Among other contributions, he has written the book "Management of Tourism Enterprises" and edited the book "Tourism Management."
