Thanos Douros was born in Athens in 1977 and has been residing in Patras since 2004, following a decade spent abroad for educational and professional purposes. He is married and the father of two children.

Professionally, over the past five years he has been part of the Keller Williams network, founding a Market Center in Achaia with headquarters in Patras, where he serves as Operating Principal.

Prior to this, he owned and managed two cafés in the center of Patras. Earlier in his career, he was active in the commercial sector, representing the Italian menswear company David Mayer for three years (2011–2014).

From 2004 to 2011, he worked in the family business Douros S.A., serving in various administrative roles and participating in the company’s Board of Directors.

Between 1995 and 2000, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kent. He then moved to the United States, where he earned an MBA from the University of South Florida in Tampa. In 2020, he completed his studies with a degree in Tourism Management from the Hellenic Open University.

As an active member of the local community, he was elected Municipal Councilor twice, in 2019 and 2023, with the independent municipal faction Spiral Patras.
